This bracelet features three large oval, cabochon turquoise stones set in sterling silver, and connected via smaller duos of coral gems connected in an s-shape setting. It has a lobster-claw clasp closure, and is a brightly-coloured, eye-catching and vibrant piece.

Turquoise is one of the oldest gemstones used in jewelry. Its name originates from Turkey, through which European trade routes once carried the stone. In many cultures turquoise was looked upon as a protective stone, guarding against bad luck, and encouraging good health and joie de vivre.

Coral is an organic gemstone, like the coral reefs in our oceans. In jewelry red coral (Corallium rubrum) is known as precious or noble coral, and has since ancient times been viewed as a protective stone. In mythology, Poseidon resided in a palace made of coral and gems, and Hephaestus first crafted his work from coral. Coral reefs are protected marine environments, and harvested according to international conservation guidelines.
