Abhainn - Water

Crafted from fine pewter, this pendant comes complete with a 33" black cord and hangs on a inscribed legend card.

Inscription:

To yield to obstacles, and flow where it may is the nature of water. It will wear down a mountain with time, but only to find its way back to the ocean. The ice that melts into water on the mountaintop does not feel itself worse off than the water that's already in the ocean. Nor does it resent the long journey ahead of it. It just flows downward. The Water element is one of coolness and acceptance. As a symbol in the secret alchemical language, Water offers the possibility of transformation through yielding to each thing that happens. The path of surrender. When a person surrenders to life, over and over again, they eventually see that the one thing that no outer event can touch is their spirit, the quiet gem at the center of the whirlpool life presents to each person who accepts it totally.
