In 1909, artist Pamela Coleman Smith, under the direction of Arthur Edward Waite, created an innovative 78-card tarot deck that would come to be recognized as revolutionary. With descriptive pictures on the 56 Minor Arcana cards, the Rider-Waite deck digressed from the tradition of tarot deck used for centuries and set the standard for nearly every tarot deck published.
The Giant Rider-Waite Deck is particularly helpful for beginners as they can readily observe all the details and connect deeply with the enlarged tarot imagery. The Giant Rider Waite Deck also encourages tarot readers to focus and concentrate on a single card at a time, fully exploring its meanings.
The world's most popular tarot deck! This classic deck is a long-standing favourite of beginners as well as tarot enthusiasts. This edition includes Smith’s original hand drawn titles.
